About the Role


Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for the planning, development and execution of branding and marketing initiatives.

The role can be tailored to a junior-intermediate or more experienced marketing professional, who wants the challenge of communicating our story to Canadian and North American markets.


The incumbent will be a highly organized individual who can work collaboratively with multiple internal departments while demonstrating the aptitude and flexibility required to coordinate deliverables with rapidly shifting demands and competing priorities.


Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Business Administration, focus on Sales and/or Marketing.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in Business Administration or Sales & Marketing required

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management

  • Responsible for developing an annual marketing plan with targeted goals, objectives, methods, quantifiable outcomes, and timelines which will achieve budgeted goals.
  • Lead multiple stakeholders in development and execution of key projects.
  • Share updates and challenges and establish timelines and processes.
  • Coordinate all general marketing efforts including the preparation of customer lists, case studies and website development
  • Liaise with external suppliers, stakeholders and other marketing contacts, including print agencies, advertising media personnel, event planners, internal staff, and local businesses
Development of Marketing Content

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agencies to develop and execute marketing materials and activities
  • Manage Ad hoc project requests
Analytics and Insights

  • Establish a system to monitor effectiveness of marketing, sales, and advertising strategies
  • Develop trackers and reporting for new and current items, competitors, distributers and leads
  • Leverage multiple data sources to uncover insights and trends.
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Manages special projects and other duties as assigned

Working Conditions
The standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Most of the work occurs during regular weekday office hours.

However, as an international company with frequent interaction with head office, hours of work involved may vary to accommodate differences in time zones.

Flexible hours are required and may include evening and week-end hours.

This job mainly operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Personal Protective Equipment is provided, and health and safety training will be provided.
