Pacific Granite Manufacturing is one of the largest stone manufacturing facilities in BC and continues to grow. We do both residential and commercial work. As of the beginning of the new year, we will completely renovate our shop facilities. We will be installing a fully automated robotic fabrication system. This system will make our company the most technologically advanced facility in North America.

We are looking for a professional individual to join our team here at Pacific Granite Manufacturing. We are open to all individuals of all experience and education levels.

Our interest is in the individual person. You will assist and shadow our current Project Manager as they train you on all aspects of their position.

This training will be thorough as the end goal is to eventually promote you into their position (Project Manager) as they themself move up in the company.

We understand this training may take a year or more as this is not a entry level position. Appropriate steps will be taken to give you the best chance at success. This is a rare opportunity for swift advancement. Starting wage will be determined through your current experience and will progress as you grow.

The position itself will cover the following (but not exclusive to); computer and drafting programs, physical and laser measuring/templating, interacting with clients, travel around the lower mainland, site meetings.

This will require some time in the office and the rest you will be visiting our sites for measurements, meetings, QC walkthroughs, or viewing issues for resolutions.

You will need to make sure all information is up to date within the project files. Experience is an asset.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$22.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday

Are you currently located in the Great Vancouver area?
Do you have experience with any programs such as AutoCAD or other equivalents?
As this position requires very strong spoken/written English, do you feel you pass this qualification?

Do you understand that this job will require you among other things, to be on site taking measurements in locations that are not clean as they are under construction (You won't always stay clean)? Knowing this, are you still interested in this position?
