    Our projects include transportation policy, operations & change management and infrastructure design.

    In addition to both leading and supporting projects in Canada, we support the delivery of projects for Mott MacDonald's clients across the US and globally.

    This candidate will initially focus on the delivery of the Scarborough Subway Extension, specifically the oversight and management of traffic planning throughout construction including transportation impact assessments and management plans.

    The ideal candidate will possess a sound technical background in transportation engineering, traffic planning, and multi modal transportation projects.

    Experience with technical stakeholder engagement and integration of transportation services, in addition to traffic planning and analysis, is critical. Demonstration of effective communication of technical analysis is essential.

    Leading traffic planning and modeling projects and conducting traffic impact assessments for major transit projects;
    Project management including client engagement, work planning, budget monitoring, and project controls reporting;
    Managing a small team of traffic modelers and technical report writers;
    Technical report-writing and responding to comments from reviewers;
    Engagement of technical stakeholders such as municipal officials and transit operators, including effective relationship building, meeting organization and facilitation and oversight of document control functions;
    Effectively communicating technical analysis to technical and non-technical audiences;
    Working with technical information and data, for example mapping data, modeling outputs, etc;
    Creating and contributing to deliverables including proposals, reports, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences;
    Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Planning or similar, or bachelor's degree with additional commensurate experience;
    Eng), Registered Professional Planner (RPP) or Project Management Professional (PMP);
    Traffic modelling and planning;
    The ideal candidate possesses the following additional assets:
    Knowledge of emerging transportation technologies and business models;
    Understanding of business cases and project appraisal using cost/benefit methods;
    Strong written and oral communication skills including the communication of complex technical information to non-technical audiences;
