Overview
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces prior to painting including: cleaning, scraping, using sandpaper, priming, or sealing surfaces. Protect surfaces by covering with cloth or plastic.
- Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other fillers using caulking guns or putty knives.
- Erect scaffolding, movable and immovable staging and various rigging to gain access to difficult areas, move furniture and equipment as needed.
- Clean up job site including the removal of paint splatters and cleaning all equipment including brushes and spray guns.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
- Professional presentation
- Highly detail oriented
- Ability to work well under mínimal supervision
- Ability to take direction
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience
- Knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
- Use of appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns, etc.)
- Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders, etc.
- Reliable and conscientious with great attention to detail
Work Conditions
- Work hours:_ 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
- Environmental:_ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move items over 75 pounds, complete repetitive movements, and capable of climbing on ladders.
- Travel Requirements:_ Must be able to travel to and from job sites in the GTA with a Valid driver's license using personal vehicle
- Additional: _Clear criminal background
