Health Care Assistant - Westlock, Canada - CNP Medical Inc

Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospice care, and home care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques for heavy lifting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Experience:

• Previous experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Salary:
$35.00-$45.00 per hour
