Sounds good? Great We are currently seeking an Art Director who is dedicated to delivering exceptional client experiences and possesses a well-rounded design background.

As an Art Director, you will oversee projects, as well as be the principal designer. You will conceptualize as much as you execute. You are expected to be as much an Art Director as a Production Designer. Collaboration with other departments is crucial, and proficiency in UX, video, traditional, and digital media is essential.


What You Will Do:


  • Oversee largescale design projects, from conception to delivery
  • Routinely join client calls and speak to designs clearly and confidently
  • Produce effective, visually stunning designs across all types of media
  • Maintain a high standard of design and ensure that only the best work is released for review
  • Share opinions, ideas, and offer input during creative meetings
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the creative stays consistent from the initial brainstorms until the final output
  • Collaborate across the agency to continually push the standards of creative
  • Mentor junior designers as required
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and tools

Requirements:


  • 9+ years of graphic design experience with at least 23 of those years as an Art Director
  • Postsecondary education in graphic design, screen arts, web design or equivalent experience
  • Must have a visual portfolio to showcase experience
  • Wellrounded design experience including, but not limited to, web design, campaign work, and video production
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Suite and Figma
  • Deep knowledge of branding, communications, and digital marketing trends
  • Solid understanding of browser and platform constraints and how they affect design
  • Strong understanding of typography and grid systems
  • Proficient in storyboarding, scripting, and concept development
  • Must be artistic and creative with a keen eye for spatial awareness
  • Strong visual design and conceptual thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to speak and work well with clients
  • Proven ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Able to collaborate with others and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized with the ability to function in a fastpaced business environment
