    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Environmental Engineering Specialist to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an Environmental Engineering Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of geotechnical, environmental and construction materials engineering and testing services.

    The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, with experience in contaminated site remediation, field investigation and sampling, and report preparation. You will be responsible for carrying out field programs, including drilling, remedial excavations, groundwater monitoring and sampling, hydrogeological testing, and soil vapour sampling.

    You will also assist in the coordination of environmental investigation and remediation projects, and assist in the preparation of site investigation and remediation reports. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Completion of a post-secondary program (degree or diploma) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, Geoscience, Agrology or a related field;
    • Registration (or eligible for registration) with EGBC, BCIA, CAB, ASTTBC, or similar professional body;
    • A commitment to working safely and promoting safety in a safety-first culture;
    • Highly motivated with an ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
    • Strong technical writing and computer skills (i.e. spreadsheet and word processing);
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
    • A valid Class 5 driver's license;
    • Environmental sampling or monitoring experience;
    • Soil sampling and classification experience;
    • Familiarity with BC Contaminated Sites Regulation and/or federal environmental guidelines;
    • Hydrogeology testing experience;
