Over the past 30 years Knappett Industries Ltd. has maintained a strong and accelerating growth rate, with operations currently serving Western Canada.Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to the success of the safety program
- Operate required equipment safe and efficiently
- Grading, trenching, backfilling, ditching
- Keep machines clean and ensure any repairs or damage is immediately reported
- Perform daily pre and post inspections and follow daily maintenance practices
Requirements:
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- 3+ years' heavy equipment operating experience
- Professional demeanour when dealing with the public, crew, and client
- Able to work outside in allweather at all times of the year
- Minimum two years' experience in civil construction
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently when required
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to take and follow instruction
- Able to do extensive physical labour
- Valid provincial driver's license
Assets:
- Recent working experience in similar role
- 5 years+ experience
- First aid training
