Description

The Service Coordinator is responsible for developing and overseeing a team of Service Technicians who promptly and professionally address the needs of customers through the performance of onsite maintenance of HVAC & Plumbing systems and equipment.

The coordinator shall further be responsible for client satisfaction and retention, budget allocation and inventory control. Other duties relevant to the position will be assigned as necessary.

Job Duties

  • Establish and maintain a productive working environment.
  • Help grow the service division and reduce costs with time management.
  • Develop new business to increase service volume.
  • Oversee and direct the activities of Service Technicians.
  • Manage all administrative processes. Invoicing, Warranty Processing, Parts Ordering, Etc.
  • Develop processes to ensure timely and accurate followup from service calls.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to support service requirements.
  • Plan and prioritize work for self and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Develop and manage budgets.
  • Be accountable for service department profitability.
  • Manage efficient use of company materials.
  • Ensure efficient management of quality and cost control.
  • Update and maintain information in Priority Mechanical Services Ltd records systems and department databases.
  • Keep current with ongoing changes and new technology and adapt accordingly.
  • Perform other duties relevant to the position as required.

Requirements:


  • A college diploma in administration or a related field is ideal.
  • Secondary School Diploma required.
  • 35 years of Service, scheduling or dispatching experience.
  • 23 years of HVAC and/or Plumbing environment experience considered an asset.
Work Conditions

  • Excellent hearing is required for extensive telephone use.
  • Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Fluctuating workload demand.
