Job Summary

We are seeking a Nursing Instructor I/II to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. The successful candidate will assist with the implementation of entry-level and specialty level educational programming in accordance with our educational framework.

The Nursing Instructor I/II has the primary responsibility for facilitating learning according to the prescribed curriculum and works collaboratively with other educators to provide educational programming for nursing and interprofessional programs using face-to-face, simulated and online delivery methods.

This is a multi-site position requiring periodic travel between Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Valley Regional Hospital, South Shore Regional Hospital.
  • Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Science of Nursing an asset
  • Active practicing license in good standing with Nova Scotia College of Nurses (NSCN) required
  • Certificate course or CNA certification in Emergency nursing required
