Job Overview:
Responsibilities:

Administrative Oversight:
- Manage and supervise the daytoday administrative operations of the medical office.
- Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of appointments, ensuring optimal patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records, including medical histories, billing information, and insurance details.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise office staff, ensuring a cohesive and effective team.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective action as needed.
Financial Management:
- Oversee billing and coding processes to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
- Monitor accounts receivable, implement financial controls, and work to maximize revenue while minimizing expenses.
- Collaborate with billing and coding professionals to address discrepancies and optimize reimbursement.
Compliance and Regulation:
- Stay informed about relevant healthcare regulations and ensure the medical office's compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Patient Experience:
- Foster a patientcentered environment by ensuring excellent customer service and addressing patient concerns promptly.
- Implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and loyalty, including efficient appointment scheduling and streamlined checkin/checkout processes.
Technology and Systems Management:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the seamless operation of office systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in medical office management, with a strong understanding of healthcare regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
