You are the missing piece of the puzzle:You have a proven track record of software quality delivery and execution, are flexible, adaptable, and are a self-starter who thrives in a rapidly changing environment. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for developing a new TELUS Health product called RAPIDS.


Qualifications:


  • Work closely with the Product Manager and BAs to
    understand the high level product visions as well as the requirements as expressed in JIRA user stories.
-
Ensure alignment of the business requirements, test strategy, plan and test cases.
-
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured BDD test plans for new product features in development
-
Define and plan the delivery of test cases and test scenarios by reviewing stories in upcoming sprints and soliciting input from business SMEs.
-
Orchestrate and coordinate the delivery of test cases and test scenarios across the delivery team, ensuring the transformation of high-level BDD test cases to optimized automation-build scripts, with a focus on "shift-left" testing.

Monitor CI/CD automation pipelines, automation test results, ensuring adequate feature coverage, and test execution.

  • Collaborate with Developers, Project Managers and Business Analysts to
    ensure that issues and risks are identified, logged and resolved
  • Working closely with other team members,
    advocate for, and evolve software delivery practices with a close eye on removing impediments, and on improving on agile practices, tooling, standards, compliance, auditability, and traceability.

Develop manual, and automation test scripts, across multiple platforms.
-
Execute manual and automation testing scripts, across multiple platforms.

Provide testing support on UAT and Production issues

  • Actively
    participate in agile ceremonies

You have

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
  • 4+ years of progressive IT experience in development at multiple levels of the software stack.
  • Experience in the Health IT sector, preferable primary care or insurance
  • Basic understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience showing yourself to be/have:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer focused, looking beyond requirements and specifications, and bringing an independent and critical eye
  • Quality and Productivity focused, finding ways to deliver on sprint commitments without compromising product quality,

Fluent in BDD and TDD:

Experience in writing and maintaining comprehensive test plans/strategy, test cases and reporting test results:


  • Demonstrable experience in taking on new tasks, stepping beyond your comfort zone, and learning new technologies

Experience in working with REST APIs and API tools such as Postman, Insomnia, RestAssured, etc

  • Strong understanding of database systems and reporting frameworks.

Well-versed with atlassian stack such as JIRA, Confluence etc:

Experience with two or more scripting or programming languages (Python, Ruby, Java, Javascript, etc)

Knowledge of the different test tools in the market (Jira, Confluence, TestRail)

  • Deep understanding of test data construction and management
  • Selfmotivated, independent, detailoriented, responsible, a team player with leadership experience, and a cando attitude.

Great-to-Haves

  • Hands on healthcare IT systems integration (HL7, FHIR) is highly desirable
  • Experience with ISO or other process certification
  • Experience in Decision Support Systems such as Drools or Camunda.
  • Experience in Intermediate or higher experience in one of the following languages: Java (preferred), Python, C#, or Ruby.
  • Formal GCP certification
  • Solid understanding of workflow and decision support systems
  • Bilingualism (English and French)
