Overview:
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the overall maintenance of the whole facility and property including any future expansions (i.e. casino floor, outlets, grounds, racetrack and barn area) to ensure that all is in compliance with respective codes.


Responsibilities:


  • Ongoing daily repairs as well as maintenance schedule of all equipment.
  • Operate heavy equipment, including tractor, grader, and Kubota with various attachments, including brush cutter, snow plow, snow blower, and finishing mower.
  • Operate forklift or other hand truck.
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
  • Implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
  • Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Adherence to health/safety, food safety and alcohol consumption regulations.
  • Ensure properties and structures are prepared for adverse weather conditions.
  • Read and interpret restoration proposals from inspectors and contractors.
  • Ensure that facility deficiencies are handled timely in order to avoid business interruption.
  • Perform other tasks as required in accordance to the business need.

Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers and small hands tools.
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to learn.

SKILLS

  • Must possess strong communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Adherence to company standards for safety, service and efficiency.
  • Must be able to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk distances.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, and loud/noisy environment.
  • Capable of climbing on ladders and working at height.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Duties and responsibilities may be performed on the Casino Floor, where you may be exposed to casinorelated environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
