HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR:


The Human Resources and Facilities Management Branch is looking for two (2) Human Resources Advisors for indeterminate positions at the RE-04 level ($59,364 to $75,591)—salaries are under review.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Manager, HR Business Partnerships, you will enable the NCC in delivering on its mandate by providing advice, client service and support to Senior Human Resources Advisors and Hiring Managers for all their staffing and recruitment activities.

You will be responsible for managing staffing and recruitment processes. You will participate in outreach activities, including career fairs, and support classification services.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:


EDUCATION:
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in human resources management or a related field.


EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in each of the following areas- Experience managing staffing processes and supporting a team of HR professionals.


  • Experience providing staffing advice and recommendations to clients.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system to manage staffing processes.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of legislation, policies, trends and practices in human resources management.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Possess or eligible to obtain reliability security clearance;
  • Linguistic profile: Bilingual BBB.
  • The position is in the National Capital Region. The person chosen for the position must reside within a commutable distance from the workplace at 40 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
  • The National Capital Commission offers a hybrid and flexible work environment, all employees are currently asked to work onsite at least two (2) days per week.
