Job descriptionWe are currently looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and qualified teacher to join our team.
Qualifications:
- AMI/MACTE Diploma and/or Registered Early Childhood Education Certification
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
- Montessori teaching experience mandatory
- Good working knowledge of "How Does Learning Happen" and/or Montessori Curriculum
- Current and clear Criminal Reference & Vulnerable Sector Checks.
- Valid CPR/ First Aid certification
- Level C
- Updated Immunization Record
- Food Handler Certification

- Solid administrative and organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to all staff and assist them with effective implementation of Montessori curriculum in keeping with the Montessori Pedagogy
- Develop and maintain relationships with families, children and staff.
- Ensure the school consistently meets CCEYA, Public Health and CCMA requirements.
- Create, maintain and update children and staff records as required by the Region and Ministry of Education.
- Organize and lead staff meetings
- Preparing weekly schedule for all staff and ensuring ratios are always met.
- Provide orientation and training to newly hired staff.
- Coordinate school events such as but not limited to, concerts, workshops and field trips.
- Create the monthly school newsletter and updates for school's social media and online presence.
- Overseeing and ensuring classroom supplies and materials are adequately stocked at all times.
- Prioritize and address all parent concerns promptly and escalate to the Director, when required.
- Assist in the school's marketing initiatives to build enrollment.
