We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to growing their professional career at Brymark while gaining valuable knowledge and experience through a variety of assignments.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the development of Policies and Procedures
  • Prepare Site Report which includes project status and participate in site document management/administration
  • Assist in preparing project submittals and closeout document
  • Check the quality processes, procedures and paperwork to ensure compliance with codes, standards, project specifications and contract
  • Participate in investigating, assessing and finding solutions for improvement
  • Report and document areas of noncompliance and address preventive action
  • Work with QA/QC Manager, Project Managers and Superintendents to meet quality requirements established for the project
  • Conduct periodic inspections and reviews to verify the work is proceeding as per the contract documents and approved plans
  • Ensure all test results and inspection reports are documented, properly filed, and submitted as required
  • Travel to Brymark's job sites and perform inspections as required, per the project ITP
  • Prepare inspection reports and keep them organized in the QA/QC folder
  • Cooperate with the construction superintendent and foremen to fill out the checksheets and inspection reports
  • Work with the client to arrange inspections at the job sites and send the inspection notice to the client
  • Work with the subcontractors and suppliers to receive QA/QC documentation, collect documents and prepare the package for submission to the client
  • Review the documents received from the Subs and Suppliers to verify the included data, and find discrepancies or deficiencies
  • Travel to Brymark subcontractor's facilities and perform inspection and surveillance as per the respective ITP
  • Assist in the preparation of Final Data Book (Turnover Package) for the completed project
  • Coordinate the Nondestructive inspection with NDT providers as needed
  • Coordinate the shop visits with the client representative as per the requirement of the project

Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Completion of postsecondary education with a related diploma, degree or trade certificate (up to 24 months of graduation)
  • 12 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry will be an asset
  • Interested in pursuing CWB Level I or II certificate to be able to perform welding visual inspection
  • Learn to work with inspection and measurement devices
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
