Description

We are looking for a new team member for our operations department to assist the team in daily work in the office involving customer and agent contact, and both team and self-initiative work.

Your duties will include:

Tracking shipment cargo using terminal, carrier, and rail online software tools;

Working with existing AMS & ISF systems data and programs and Bills of Lading, and making timely filings;

Working with industry systems to input data and create documents;
-
Following up on shipments 5 days before arrival and keeping track of the shipments' movements until its empty container is returned to port;

Creating different Invoices for customers, and Bills for carriers and vendors;
-
Understanding, creating, and working with Debit Notes and Credit Notes;

Being aware of freight and accessory charges, bill and collect accordingly, and release shipments on time;

Understanding and providing extended services for customers with door deliveries and customs clearance; and

Inputting and updating the details for your team's shipments into internal tracking summary sheets.

Sufficient computer literacy of Outlook, Excel, and basic office software; computer literacy in industry software such as Freightstream and AMS/ISF is a plus
