Manager, P&CB Third Party Risk Initiatives, Efficiencies, and 3rd Party Policy Compliance Lead


What's the opportunity?


In this key role within the Personal and Commercial Banking (P&CB) Third Party Risk team, you will have significant impact and influence on how third-party risk management is managed in P&CB (Canada, US, Caribbean), through developing methodologies, implementing RBC Enterprise third party risk programs, realization of efficiencies, while performing data analysis and reporting.

You will also serve as the 3rd party Policy Compliance Lead, supporting all P&CB Business Units (BU)'s and the team of SPC assistant managers and managers with relevant and up-to-date information on third party risk policy, tools, and templates, as well as maintaining SPC process and documentation.


What will you do?

  • Initiate, plan, coordinate and implement initiatives in accordance with project management discipline
  • Serve as delegate to P&CB at enterprise level forums, representing the P&CB viewpoint among Third Party Risk and other Supplier Management Offices
  • Coordinate with Sr. Director/Director, Engagement Leads and BU in implementing initiatives; developing, distributing and communicating plans to stakeholders, while tracking and managing timelines
  • Manage and drive improvements to Supplier Management methodology for P&CB, including stakeholder feedback; participates in the P&CB TPR Practice and Methodology team; manage key COSMSS team activites
  • Implement strategic leadership, change leadership, oversight, practice development and ongoing management of P&CB's supplier management policy and compliance activities
  • Ensure tracking of P&CB's SOC reviews, maintenance of SPC processes, annual Business Managed Application Attestation, Concentration Risk attestation, Exit Strategy renewal, policy compliance, and other strategic programs
  • Identify opportunities and efficiencies on TPR processes, staff capacities and Supplier Risk and Relationship programs, assess initiatives' impact on P&CB TPR and the P&CB supplier management community.

What you need to succeed

Must have:


  • Solid 3rd party risk experience
  • Proven Project Management experience
  • Strong time management capabilities and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders

Nice to have:

- knowledge of P&CB business and operations
- knowledge of risk management
