The Role:

APC is seeking Supervisor, Payroll & Benefits.

As a key member of the Human Resource (HR) staff team, the Supervisor, Payroll & Benefits, will be responsible to oversees the full cycle payroll & benefits administration for Assiniboine Park Conservancy (APC).

The Supervisor, Payroll & Benefits will be fully accountable for the payroll & audit function of multiple business units across APC maintaining complete, accurate and timely employee records.

The incumbent will actively participate in the budget planning process and will coordinate the workforce budget planning for APC in collaboration with other business units.

Qualifications:

Payroll Compliance Certificate and/or Certified Payroll Manager Certification.
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) would be an asset.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in pension and benefits administration.
Experience processing payroll year

Proven knowledge of payroll, benefit, and pension statutes and regulations.
Experience in interpreting collective agreements from a payroll perspective.
Demonstrated strong time management, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
Proven aptitude for detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Strong computer skills in Excel, Work, and PowerPoint.
Experience working in Payworks or UKG would be a strong asset
Ability to contribute in a team environment.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
