Summary of Duties:

The Dietitian provides nutritional management for patients living with Chronic Kidney Disease throughout the continuum of care in accordance with Clinical Nutrition care standards as well as the Patient

Qualifications/Skills:

12 years' experience with the nephrology population preferred;
12 years' experience with the inpatient population preferred;
12 years' experience educating patients with an understanding of principles of adult education;
Current registration in good standing with College of Dietitians of Ontario mandatory;
Excellent communication and organizational skills;
Strong team building and conflict resolution skills;
Able to work independently as well as cooperatively with peers and multidisciplinary team members; adapting to a changing environment and respond with initiative
Patient-Focused Care approach with an understanding and appreciation of the nephrology population;
Demonstrated success training and mentoring dietetic interns.
