The Opportunity

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an Automotive Industry related Sales position
  • Working knowledge of the Collision sector an asset
  • Specific experience in a Parts environment is preferred
  • Effective time management, organizational and customer service skills
  • Self motivated with a proven ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Complete fluency in the English language; both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite combined with prior experience using CRM software
  • Exceptional presentation skills that include clear articulation of product knowledge and value proposition
  • Proven ability to ask the right questions and gather necessary information to close the sale
  • Goal oriented, with strong negotiation skills and a high closing ratio

Responsibilities of the Position

  • Develop and manage a detailed supply chain of OEM dealers
  • Actively communicate with OEM supply chain, sharing sales activity, opportunities and feedback from the customers in the field
  • Initiate the sales process by building relationships and qualifying potential opportunities with dealerships and auto body shops in designated area
  • Identify decision makers and work to schedule appointments to evaluate their needs
  • Facilitate initial presentations on product offerings, tailoring the value add accordingly
  • Close new business by building rapport with the potential account; explaining service capabilities and overcoming objections
  • Expand sales within existing accounts by evaluating competitors, analyzing opportunities and introducing new OEM dealers
  • Maintain detailed account information for new and existing customers
  • Follow up consistently with new and existing clients to promote the organizational mission of being their "Supplier of Choice"
  • Participate in regional events, trade shows and conferences to promote brand awareness and foster new relationships
  • Work in partnership with other Territory Managers to accomplish regional goals
  • Attend virtual team meetings monthly to discuss business, share successes and overcome road blocks as a unit

Salary:
$50,000.00-$146,382.47 per year
