About the role


As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will perform a variety of operational support roles which includes: Quality Assurance reviews within collections, document change control, and operational oversight etc.

Overall purpose of the position is to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.


Responsibilities:


  • Participate in various audits within collections, such as but not limited to, Delinquent accounts, Loss mitigation queues, etc.
  • Conduct call quality monitoring and/or file reviews for collections on a regular basis (vendor/internal)
  • Create, update and review collection workflows
  • Create, update and publish collection procedures
  • Make recommendation to the business on improvement in collections processes and procedures
  • Report control weakness, compliance breaches and operational loss events.
  • Participate in managing access requests and recertification.
  • Review FIM requirements and HBCA policies to ensure Collections process and procedures are compliant.
Requirements

  • University / College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to remain effective under pressure, provide assessment and sound judgment
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, communications skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing work and demands
  • Working within demanding timelines
  • Professional conduct
  • Ability to work independently, with good attention to detail and solutions oriented within assigned.
