Your key contribution


The Lawyer is an integral member of BLG Beyond Leasing, providing substantive legal knowledge while contributing to the team's exceptional client service.

The Lawyer possesses a mind-set of continuous improvement and is a self-starter in a digital first environment.

Your key objectives- Draft leasing agreements and amendments to existing leasing agreements, including renewals, assignments, surrenders and collateral lease documentation- Prepare and negotiate leases in office, industrial, retail and mixed-use commercial properties, developments and redevelopments- Conducting leasing due diligence, anticipating issues and recommending resolutions- Advise clients on large portfolio transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financing- Assist with developing new service delivery models for leasing mandates- Managing complex leasing agreements and identifying discrepancies where applicable- Liaising with clients, counsel opposite and third parties- Adhering to time recording best practices including recording their time daily and contributing to annual revenue goals- Managing daily workflow, keeping matters on track, meeting official deadlines and expected turnaround times
