Employment Status: Full-Time
Starting Hourly Rate: $21.00 per hour
Address: 33 Dundas Street West Toronto ON M5G 3C2
New Hire Schedule: Based on business needs - Mon -Fri 6am to 8pm are possible shifts; weekly shifts between 2-4 days
The hourly wage rate for this position is $21.00 Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Job Summary
As a Porter, you will:
- Responsible for setting up, refreshing and tearing down conference spaces
- Respond to all guests needs and requests as needed
- Maintain a general understanding of the event space and offer assistance to guests' needs
- Complete periodic equipment checks.
- Observe/practice all health & safety procedures and policies
About you:
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Must be reliable, motivated, enthusiastic and a team player, willing to assist as needed
- Must be able to use cleaning equipment
- Physically able to carry out duties of the position
