Reporting to the Director of Capture Management for the global water business at AECOM, your primary focus will be on mega/major opportunities in the Americas with occasional global pursuit leadership.
You will work in partnership with passionate client account managers, proposal managers, market sector leaders, regional business leaders, and technical staff to successfully position for and capture our most important opportunities.
To succeed in this role, you need to be able to oversee positioning, bid, and interview strategies, lead a team in thinking creatively, and provide leadership in contracting, pricing, teaming, and risk management to produce attractive, client-focused deliverables.
You can be located in any major city throughout the United States with the ability to travel and work efficiently virtually.
This role is a critical position to drive the success of AECOM's global water business at one of the largest engineering firms in the world.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements**:
- BA/BS + 15 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education; including at a Director / Vice President Level, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, and at least 4 years of leadership experience.
- Experience must demonstrate skills in business development strategy, team leadership, client discovery and the development of compelling value propositions that meet client's needs.
- Requires flexibility to travel on a regular basis.
- Proven strong strategic writing, illustration, and communication skills.
Additional Information
- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Bonus opportunities are tied to both company and individual performance and vary from yeartoyear. The salary range for this position is $180,000 $250,000. _Please note that this role can be based anywhere in the United States and Canada._
- Due to the partial remote/virtual nature of this position, relocation assistance is not available.
