Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a
Sales Advisor, Independent Fuel Accounts on a permanent basis on our Energy Sales & Marketing team.

This position is a hybrid opportunity based in and around Calgary, AB.


Do you have a knack for sales and collaboration? We are looking for a self-starter with these skills to support local Co-ops in identifying new dealers to grow the Independent Fuel Accounts Program and expand their market share.


What you'll do:


  • Work with local Coops within your assigned zone to identify new sales opportunities and build action plans to expand the TEMPO and Western Nations network.
  • Directly engage in communications with prospective dealers, present program benefits, lead negotiations, and collaborate with local Coops and FCL during the contract process.
  • Work closely with local Coops on the implementation and transition of contracts to the local Coops and provide ongoing operational support after the transition.
  • Support local Coops in building relationships with existing TEMPO, Reseller, and Western Nations Accounts.

You will be part of our Energy Zone Operations team working closely with local Co-ops, Operations Advisors, and colleagues across the Energy team in pursuit of collaboration and growth across the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS).

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in sales & business development:

  • Have 6+ years of experience in contract agreements and sales.
  • Have a degree or diploma in business (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Are adept in communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.
