Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring customers are acknowledged, their project needs are met, complaints are resolved, and store services are quick and efficient, with proper stock levels.
• Ensure associates are properly trained in product/services and customer service skills.
• Drive productivity on the sales floor and other areas of responsibility.
• Maintain store profitability through report analysis, identifying trends, defining problems, and developing appropriate responses.
• Manage the store's profit/loss (P/L) and overall operating efficiency.
• Lead direct reports and establish career paths and learning opportunities.
• Partner with district and divisional resources to ensure the store meets allocated metrics and efficiencies.

Requirements

• Must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (V2 - Valued Associate, Well Positioned).
• 4-10 years of experience in retail management.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Results-oriented leadership skills.
• Customer-service focused.
• Able to solve problems, delegate tasks, and achieve goals.
• Solid business acumen demonstrated through business results.
• Eagerness to learn and master new roles quickly.
• Excellent communication skills among various audiences and organizational levels.
• Computer experience is a must.
• Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Able to work a flexible retail schedule including nights and weekends.
