Description

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting, which may include cleaning, filling in cracks and holes, and sanding
Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment by properly storing equipment, cleaning up after work, and following safe work practices
Work closely with maintenance team to ensure quality work and timely completion of projects
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

Prior experience as a painter
BC Drivers License and own transportation
Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
Able to stand for long periods of time, twist, turn, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
Availability to work flexible hours

This position is full-time to start and then moves to on-call, with opportunities for work in other departments.

Person can either be temporary/permanent on pay-roll, or work with us via a contractor agreement and invoicing. If working as a contractor, person must provide their own WCB documentation.

Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary:
$22.00-$26.00 per hour
