Chef de Cuisine


The Role at a Glance:
This position plays a key role within our hotels.

The Chef de Cuisine will be directly involved with the leadership and menu development of all Food & Beverage Outlets.


Your Day To Day Duties:


  • You will manage a motivated team of cooks, prepcooks and dishwasher and will be leading the kitchen function
  • Ensure a clean and efficient working environment; ensure the highest of quality for food products
  • Manage food and labour costs
  • Be involved in daily mentoring, team briefings
  • Overall refinement of the culinary program, contribute to seasonal menu creation
  • Comply with all Archive standards, policies and procedures at all times
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
  • Administrative duties: scheduling, monthly inventory, food and labour cost controls

You have:


  • Previous experience as a Chef de Cuisine or strong Sous Chef experience with a fine dining background of 23 years
  • Passion about cooking and culinary creativity
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team and driving a positive learning culture for the next generation of cooks
  • Red Seal certification not required, but formal training is an asset
