Description
SDI is a progressive industrial overhead door manufacturer looking for a junior controller to join our accounting team.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting, and financial tasks to support the Accounting Department and ensure the daily operations run accurately and efficiently.

This position reports directly to the CEO.


The following is a brief overview of the position; however, the employee is expected to assist other staff as required from time to time in various duties as needed.


  • Monthly government remittances
  • Process annual corporate taxes
  • Manage bank accounts
  • Prepare payment files and process ACH or wire payments
  • Post payment to vendor acts
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Prepare month end closings & provide the monthly reports
  • Year end reports to accountants
  • Year end adjustments journal entries
  • Monthly inventory and depreciation calculations
  • Yearly reconciliation of government filing
  • Profit and loss creation/improvements
  • Develop strategies to improve processes

Requirements:


  • Understanding of PNL Statement
  • Budget analysis
  • Cash flow cycles
  • Excellent command of English Language in written and verbal
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish or French an asset

Job Types:

Salary:
From $70,000.00 per year
