Job Description:
This position is responsible for but not limited to receiving, shipping, ensuring accurate inventory, and providing excellent customer service. This position will report to the Manager.
Position:
Tapered Insulation Fabricator
Shift:
Days - between 6:00 am and 4:30 pm

What will you do?
- Examine engineering designs and drawings, ascertain the materials needed, and schedule the jobs to cut insulation as efficiently as possible to meet delivery dates.
- Create patterns and templates to serve as layout guides.
- Prepare cost and expenditure statements and predictions for a project given
- To guarantee that the product meets standards, check the installation and product quality.
- Establishing machine or equipment controls, developing manufacturing and processing methods and variables, supervising production, and inspecting processes.
- Fabricate finished panels in accordance with shop drawings provided.
- Package cut panels, and record finished piece ID for shipping labels and maintain usable waste for future use
- Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit clients' needs
- Create and implement plans and programs for workplace safety, health, and fire prevention, and carry out safety training initiatives.
- Completing daily saw operation check list.
- Prepare documents and shipping labels for products
- Work MITS/P21 reports as required, invoice, open order, unconfirmed pick ticket, purchase order
- Ensure inventory adjustments are inputted

- Knowledge of cutting processes and equipment safety practices.
- Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments.
- Math skills including good understanding of fractions and angles.
- Ability to read tape measure and determine angles.
- Ability to read blueprints drawings and cut lists.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eyehand coordination sufficient to operate machinery such as a forklift and table saw.
