Director Program Managementreporting to the COO, you will play an integral part in Ability Biologics's business strategy and pipeline development. You will partner with Ability's executive, science and operations teams to ensure the delivery of our lead assets on time and on budget.

Qualifications:

-
Education: BSc in a relevant field of Biology or equivalent degree required. MBA/MSc/PhD considered an asset.

Experience: 6 years for a BSc, 4 years for an MSc/PhD:
(At least 5 years' experience in managing antibody or small molecule therapeutic research programs, from discovery to IND. Proven experience in managing complex projects involving multiple internal/external partners, including CROs)

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of project management software, such as Asana, and integration with other systems such as Quickbooks, Slack, Gsuite.
  • Good knowledge of fundamental financial concepts, e.g. profit/loss, balance sheets, budget variances, cash flows.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage multiple internal therapeutic research programs from lead discovery to IND. Work with research leads to design programs, assign timelines and milestones, budget.
  • Once projects are running ensure major milestones are met, track costs, assign tasks both internally and to CROs.
  • Ensure that program decisions (Go/No Go) are made at the right time by being responsive and attentive to program needs and communicative with team members.
  • Help recruit and build crossfunctional teams designed to achieve outcomes for Series A and beyond.
  • Collaborate with finance team to generate monthly research spend reports.
  • Collaborate with science team to generate monthly scientific progress report.
  • Analyze the market and competition for therapeutic and antibody development platforms to identify potential opportunities, risks, threats and make recommendations (SWOT).
  • Partner with the executive team to prepare Series A decks.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with team members, partners and investors. Track investor conversations and feedback.
  • Identify and establish processes necessary to help the business achieve Series A and future funding.

Qualifications:

Scolarité: B.Sc. dans un domaine pertinent de la Biologie. MBA/MSc/PhD sera considéré comme un atout.

Expérience : 6 ans pour un BSc, 4 ans pour une MS/PhD:
(Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans la gestion de programmes de recherche sur les anticorps ou les petites molécules thérapeutiques, de la découverte à l'_IND_. Expérience avérée dans la gestion de projets impliquant plusieurs partenaires internes/externes, y compris les CRO.)
