Ledcor Marine:
*This position will require working on the water**The compensation for this position starts at $19/hr*
Essential Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of tasks providing support to the office, vessels, and shore
- side maintenance operations at our Marine location in Richmond
- Provides general clean up, ongoing monitoring and upkeep of all work site areas
- Coordinates vessel supply requests
- Purchasing/pick up of parts and supplies
- Assists mechanics with general maintenance and engine services
- Manages upkeep of the dock recycling area
- Cleans and refuels company light duty vehicles and crew change vessel
- Duties will vary depending on daily business requirements
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude, strong communication and proven teamwork skills
- Extremely safetyconscious
- Physically able to manage regular heavy lifting and repetitive movements
- Pleasure Craft Operating Certification (PCOC) a strong asset
- Knowledge and experience with safely using power tools would be an asset
- Must possess a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
- Successful completion of preemployment drug & alcohol testing requirements
Work Conditions
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions
- This position will require working on the water
- Training will be provided
