The Shipping / Receiving position coordinates with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing shipping, receiving and inventory needs.

Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store product in a safe manner.
Ensure that all orders have been filled correctly.
Build and wrap product securely and effectively so they are packaged to arrive safely.
Ensure efficient, safe and professional packaging.
Determine method of shipment and prepare waybills and shipping labels for shipments.
Ensure that all incoming shipments are inspected, sorted and properly stored.
Unload and inspect product for damages and verify the product matches the packing slip.
Set aside special and back ordered items for customers and tag picking tickets with their location.
Organize and store received items in appropriate area.
