Level Up Psychology provides emotional health and well-being services to all age groups in Beaumont, Alberta. This is an amazing opportunity for someone that is professional, highly motivated, and a self-starter. Level Up is a rapidly growing company and we are looking for dedicated professionals to grow with us.


Must be willing to engage in marketing and development of Dietitian practices with the team. Bringing awareness to the community about Dietitian services is key in order to acquire clients. You must be driven and have a desire to develop the Dietitian branch within Level Up. This role is suited for someone who is looking for a long-term role and to establish our mission of "We Care About People."


This Dietitian actively integrates client-and family-centered care principles into practice; has excellent communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrates critical thinking, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills; has excellent time management and prioritization skills; and maintains continuing professional and practice competencies through professional development activities.

This dietitian has a strong background in providing & leading evidence-informed nutrition care. This position is best suited for someone who understands mental health diagnosis and the impact on individuals.


Level Up Psychology is a holistic mental health clinic that provides multi-disciplinary services such as: various forms of therapy and assessment, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, medical team services and more.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates changes in nutrition goals, diets and treatment to appropriate decision with interdisciplinary care partner team
  • Identifies, adopts and provides input into best practice standards for nutritional care
  • Provides individual nutrition education

Requirements:


  • Completion of Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Foods and Nutrition
  • Current registration with College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA)
  • Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada
  • Mental health related work experience including working with food avoidance (ARFID), autism spectrum disorder, eating disorders, OCD, disorder eating, and working towards developing healthy relationships with food
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience supporting individuals with various mental health needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to deal effectively with conflict in a diplomatic and professional manner
  • Adept at written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exhibit an open and sincere approach by demonstrating respect and compassion for everyone equally
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Demonstrate flexibility
  • High degree of independence, flexibility and commitment
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and has strong desire to work in a holistic care model
  • HAES trained
This can be a hybrid position based on your clinical needs. We offer in person, phone, and telehealth option. Choose your own schedule, as our clinic is open 7 days a week. Choose your own hours and availability We strive to ensure our providers have a good work-life balance. OUR OFFICE IS LOCATED IN BEAUMONT.
