Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for managing a team of Sr. Account Managers (AMs).

The Sales VP will be responsible for strategic planning, meeting revenue goals, maintaining staff headcount through hiring, performance management, and meeting expense budget levels.


Essential Functions:


  • Deliver or exceed sales budget for all lines of business
  • Describes CBTS/OnX value in the context of emerging market trends
  • Assesses the customer's financial situation; identifies the financial measurements and roi required to proceed with the greatest impact; positions the solution to demonstrate CBTS/OnX value and to create competitive differentiation
  • Reviews the implementation of a formal plan for building executive level relationships with key individuals where mutual value is explored (LAMP)
  • Fosters a team environment where top performers share ideas for attaining goals or finding solutions to business issues; does not allow low performers to monopolize their time
  • Discusses the business value CBTS/OnX provides; uses these discussions to create executive demand and build competitive immunity
  • Assists the team in leading executive level meetings and discussions; links CBTS/OnX 's value to key executive initiatives and personal agendas
  • Assists the team in executing a political strategy to ensure CBTS/OnX wins the opportunity and nonsupporters and competitors are neutralized
  • Researches and shares best practices of recognized industry leaders in multiple industries
  • Influences key decision maker and his / her impact on present and future
  • Links CBTS/OnX's solutions to the customer's business issues to gain credibility at the executive level
  • Articulates executive issues as they relate to the customer's business plan
  • Shapes coaching based on each individual's profiled attributes and competencies. Ensures individual strengths are aligned to CBTS/OnX business objectives

Education:

Two years of College or Technical School resulting in an Associate's Degree or equivalent


Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:


  • N/A

Relevant Work Experience:


  • Over 10 years in related field
  • 10 Years in sales or 5 years in Sales Management

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Understands why the practices do what they do
  • Picks up on the sense of the practices in terms of positions, intentions, and needs; what they value and how to motivate them
  • Can predict what practices will do across different situations
  • Articulates and hooks the professional and personal agendas of key influencers

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has one or more employee (a team of account managers and directors) direct reports.
