- Develop comprehensive verification plans based on hardware specifications and design requirements.
- Design and implement verification testbench environments using industry-standard hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog and VHDL.
- Develop and execute test cases to validate the functionality and performance of hardware designs.
- Perform functional verification, including simulation, formal verification, and emulation.
- Collaborate closely with hardware design engineers to identify and resolve design issues.
- Analyze and debug test failures, and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain verification documentation, including test plans, test cases, and verification reports.
- Stay updated on the latest verification methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the verification process.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of digital design concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL) and verification tools (e.g., Questa, ModelSim).
- Experience with verification methodologies such as UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for test automation is a plus.
- Prior experience in hardware verification or related roles is preferred.
