Accountability:

This position is responsible for responding to guest requests, minor maintenance as assigned, janitorial, and housekeeping activities. Must ensure the quality of service is maintained to the highest level for our guests.

Function & Tasks:


  • Responsible for responding to guest requests for assistance with operation of televisions, Wi-Fi, heating in chalets, etc.
  • Must always carry a radio and respond to requests from managers or front desk to deliver requested items to guests.
  • Ensure that adequate supplies of firewood are available to guests in chalets.
  • Perform minor maintenance such as changing light bulbs, plunging toilets, repairs on windows, doors, switches, desks, tables, plugs, equipment, appliances, sinks, toilets, blinds, etc. when requested by managers or the front desk.
  • Perform additional minor maintenance duties as requested by housekeeping or maintenance manager.
  • Check and change garbage at outside garbage containers. Check and change as necessary garbage containers in the Lodge and gym facilities.
  • Ensure that supplies are replaced in gym bathrooms and change rooms.
  • Transport luggage to and from guest chalets when requested by a manager or front desk. When delivering luggage, check with guests to see if they need assistance with anything.
  • Responsible for ensuring that walkways are sanded.
  • Shoveling walkways as requested by housekeeping or maintenance manager, removing snow, ice, and debris.
  • May be called upon to split and deliver firewood.
  • Perform standard housekeeping, laundry, and janitorial duties as requested.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Cooperation - working jointly with others towards our common goal of guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate all problems and/or ideas to your supervisor.
  • Must be punctual for work shift and efficient while working.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner within company policies.
  • Ensure that resort is checked regularly for repairs and refurbishing, and that required maintenance is recorded appropriately.
  • Professional conduct, good staff relations, friendly, and efficient.
  • Work must be performed to the highest quality. Attention to detail is extremely important.
  • The dress code is black pants, white top, and black vest. The black vest and white top are supplied. The dress code must always be adhered to.
  • Will be called upon to shuttle guests. Drive company vehicles as required.
  • May be called upon to perform other duties comparable to the above, as the aforementioned describes only the primary duties of the job.

Job Specifications:


  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to work with precision, organization, and accuracy.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work with various systems.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, selfmotivated.
  • Valid Class 4 Drivers License.
  • Bondable.

Working Conditions:


  • May be exposed to waste, infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc. that are consistent with maintenance, janitorial and housekeeping, with appropriate PPE.
  • Manual dexterity required.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 25 pounds.
