About us
Tutor Doctor provides one-to-one individualized instruction in the home and online.

We work with students of all ages; whether the student is an elementary student with a learning disability or a teen requiring advanced instruction, our tutoring services are customized to individual abilities and needs.

The majority of students we support are in grades KG through to grade 12 and early university. Subjects covered are Math, English, ESL, Sciences, Social Studies and French.


Tutor Doctor is looking for a positive and enthusiastic Tutors who can work with students in-home mainly and some online work to join our team to work in Richmond BC with students.


ABOUT THIS POSITION:


Tutors who are successfully contracted will be required to submit a vulnerable sector check before they can begin working with students.

We offer an orientation, access to resources, and ongoing support.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • 1 years of postsecondary education in a related field of study
  • Knowledge of teaching techniques and learning styles
  • Tutoring experience (Formal or Informal)
  • Can communicate clearly in English.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Dependability and professionalism
  • Ability to travel to student's homes for inhome tutoring

COMPENSATION:
Hourly rate of $22- $26 per hour based on qualifications and experience.


Job Types:
Part-time, Contract

Part-time hours: 2-8 per week


COVID-19 considerations:


All customers are expected to wear masks for tutor meetings and follow safety protocols for in-home tutoring and be vaccinated.

COVID-19 considerations:
If we work in-home with a family, we are asking for confirmation of vaccination status for all involved. Also masks to be worn if needed.

  • Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
