Full-Time Permanent Position hours per week

We are looking for a dynamic and service-oriented individual with a keen eye for detail to work with our HR team.

Reporting directly to the HR Generalist, you will develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company's current and future hiring needs. You will also be Leading the New Employee Orientation (NEO) at Lumacare.


Your Role Will Involve:


  • Conducting needs analysis with Hiring Managers to understand position requirements, and advise them on policies, processes, recruiting initiatives.
  • Posting and renewing job advertisements on various online sites and job boards; Indeed, LinkedIn, university career pages.
  • Establishing solid relationships with hiring managers, providing strategic guidance and advice as a trusted talent partner, building strong networks internally and externally.
  • Extending offers and negotiating (where appropriate) in alignment with agency needs
  • Maintaining impeccable organization and constantly reassess priorities while working on multiple roles at once
  • Working across the entire organization you must be crossfunctional in this role and build relationships in every department
  • Represent and promote Lumacare brand and value proposition at external recruitment events in a positive and professional manner
  • Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) of Lumacare.

What We're Looking For:


  • Diploma in Human Resources and a minimum of 1 years' experience as Recruiter, carrying out recruitment, selection, and onboarding of employees.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Competent knowledge and experience working with relevant legislative requirements/policies to effectively recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff required
  • Strong organizational and problemsolving skills with the ability to pay attention to detail required
  • Outstanding interpersonal, relationship building, communication and customer focus skills required
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced work environment
  • Valid Vulnerable Police Record Check completed within last 12 months is required.
  • Fluency in another language is an asset.
