- Provide advisory support to municipalities for budgeting, project planning, and capital forecasting.
- Lead or assist in the design, tender preparation, and contract administration of municipal infrastructure projects (water, sewer, roads, and drainage).
- Review and comment on development proposals, servicing studies, and site plan applications.
- Assist with engineering-related agreements, development approvals, and coordination with agencies and developers.
- Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and technical memoranda.
- Mentor junior technical and engineering staff.
- Participate in client meetings, committees, and municipal council sessions as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligible for licensure.
- Minimum 5 years (Intermediate) to 10+ years (Senior) of relevant municipal engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of municipal operations, infrastructure planning, and the development review process.
- Effective communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office is an asset.
