WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR


The Warehouse Coordinator ensures the continuity of material supply for seamless daily production through assisting with, maintaining inventory accuracy & keeping the warehouse in a condition that meets the expectations of the business.

The Warehouse Coordinator understands the impact of their position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of their tasks.

This position is required to work a shift from 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities_


Inventory Control (25%):


  • Managing inventory with regards to shelf life and facilitating transfers to prevent overstock issues and balance network inventory.
  • Assist with cycle count on Finished good/ Raw material items as per cycle count procedure
  • Responsible for highlighting the gaps between physical and system inventory for appropriate actions
  • Liaise between internal departments and external facilities (planning, production, QC/QA & outside storage) and communicate effectively regarding the material availability issue, quality issue, shortfall, etc.

Shipping, Receiving & Warehouse Coordination (75%):

  • Process and schedule outbound finish good shipments.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of physical inventory (Staging for picking).
  • Ensure sales orders are invoiced and shipped to customers.
  • Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete.
  • Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries.
  • Responsible for generating reports pertaining to inbound shipments (Receiving materials)
  • Follow current standards and procedures.
  • Maintain an organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
  • Works in a safe and conscientious manner. Maintains a safe and secure work environment for all employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills & Abilities_

  • Minimum
    2 years of proven work experience in a food production and/or warehouse facility preferred.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize; able to work in a time sensitive, fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Strong ability to work within
    ERP platform (Business Central); able to use system tools to analyze and be proficient with numbers to analyze data.

superior organizational skills. Above all, you will thrive in a collaborative environment and have superior interpersonal skills and bring a positive can-do approach to everything you do.
