Department Overview
- Fixed Assets is part of the Finance Operations (FinOps) Center, located in Moncton, New Brunswick. FinOps is an integral part of TD Finance, delivering finance services with a commitment to operational excellence.
- FinOps is an integral and trusted partner to segments across the Bank. It is madeup of diverse teams, strengths and capabilities contributing to TD's overall success. Together, FinOps helps the Bank make smart business decisions, ensure regulatory compliance and financial reporting accuracy.

Job Requirements
- Be a key member of a high performing team of finance professionals responsible to perform general accounting and finance reporting functions, which may include:
- Review and process manual or system generated data to create fixed assets in Oracle Fixed Assets ERP system.
- Reconcile the subledger accounting entries and general ledger postings.
- Understand and be able to explain significant variances related fixed assets entries.
- Execute existing process controls and implement new controls as needed.
- Deliver quality service; achieve performance goals in a transformative and changing environment.
- Identify operational problems, take ownership to resolve, and escalate issues as required.
- Strive for operational excellence through ongoing process improvements.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all assigned processes.
- Foster a climate of open communication within team, FinOps partners and key stakeholders.
Additional Information
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Highly motivated individual with a willingness to take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Problem solving skills business acumen.
- Ability to review and reconcile large amount of data.
- Knowledge of SQL would be an asset.
