THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the Sports Store Supervisor, the Sports Stores Technician organizes sports stores activities and equipment purchases according to established policies and regulations.
The Sports store Technician places orders and tracks materials and supplies. They prepare reports for supervisor, as required. They maintain records of distribution accounts and obtains quotes for goods/products from suppliers and submits to supervisor for purchases.QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**High school diploma AND several years of experience in a related field
Experience
Experience in equipment maintenance/scheduling
A valid driver's license in Ontario
Forklift operator's license, an asset
Experience in issuing sports equipment
Experience in loss prevention
Experience in inventory control
Experience in record keeping/invoicing
Experience in event planning and project management
Experience in the preparation and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities
Competencies, Skills and Abilities

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential
