    Description
    What to Expect

    The ideal candidate has experience in performing general preventive and emergency maintenance of facilities equipment, as well as a strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire, and life safety systems. You will be reporting to the Facilities Manager.

    Shift: 7:00AM - 4:30PM

    What You'll Do
    • Regularly conduct rounds to identify potential safety and compliance issues, identify maintenance interventions, and keep facility operations running efficiently
    • Identify, assess, and report any hazardous conditions to manager.
    • Follow safe working practices and make appropriate use of related safety equipment as required. Work according to Tesla's safety standards and policies
    • Apply knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems to perform scheduled and corrective maintenance tasks. Effectively lead event and trouble response
    • Coordinate and supervise vendors and contractors in performing repairs, maintenance, and upgrades of equipment or systems
    • Perform equipment repairs and other duties that require no oversight or direction
    • Develop and implement the standard operating procedures (SOPs) programmed for facilities and systems operations
    What You'll Bring
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities maintenance or related fields
    • Effective verbal and written communications skills along with strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization
    • Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and desire to learn. Must be able to multitask and adapt to constant change
    • Self-directed and able to work toward specific goals and objectives with limited oversight
    • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
    • Ability to perform physical labor, lifting at least 50 lbs. Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in constrained spaces, and work in loud environments.
