A strong team, like a great beer, is the sum of its parts. Our necessary ingredient is an awesome person to join us as a Delivery Driver. We brew beer that we want to drink and share with old and new friends. Our delivery driver is a key part to our success by delivering beer to our many resellers and accounts. Delivery Drivers must be aware that they are a representative of BCB and our organization's values. This individual ought to share an enthusiasm for great product and equally great service.

What we offer

Emphasis on work life balance (4 x 10hour days) between Tuesday-Friday

- $21.00/ hour to start; with $0.50/ hour after 3 months

Job Responsibilities

Check correspondence for updates.
Gather invoices and picklist from Order Desk.
Pretrip inspections and load securing.
Load delivery vehicle
Follow planned route to each account
Follow and abide by all road rules/laws
Ensure invoices are signed by the account and all products on the invoice are delivered.
Maintain courteous, polite, and respectful demeanour When delivering to accounts and dealing with customers,
Keep the delivery vehicle tidy, clean, and presentable.
Being on time, and prompt for scheduled delivery

Skills & Requirements

Previous breweries experience an asset
Can successfully work in a fast

- paced environment with a sense of urgency

Be reliable, have a great attitude, and provide exceptional customer service
Familiar and confident driving on the highway and throughout the Lower Mainland

This role requires

A clean driver's abstract
Class 5 driver license

Working & Physical Requirements
-
This role requires the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. To bend, lift, carry and or manipulate objects up to 160lbs

Compensation:

- $21 / hour
- $0.50/ hour raise after 3 months
- $50 monthly gift card to Backcountry Brewing Taproom
