Human Resources Manager
Canaray provides the GTA with standard-setting oral radiology services. You will be responsible for implementing and overviewing the company's Human Resources procedures as the Human Resources Manager.
This role will be key in supervising a company or organization's hiring process, from recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff.
This role will support and advocate for employees, build company culture, improve employee engagement, and build strategic talent resource plans.
Duties
- Identify and implement Human Resources practices that drive employee engagement and retention.
- Oversee and support the performance of staff and talent management processes.
- Manage employees within Human Resources and operations
- Coach and counsel management and hourly employees regarding policies and procedures, discipline, interpersonal and teamwork opportunities
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues that arise
- Drive effective recruiting, selection and onboarding activities for all employees
- Ensure compliance with all company, government, labour and RCDSO regulations
- Provide strong operational support and guidance on organizational change management
- Facilitate employee relations, performance management, employee development, succession management and HR data procedures
- Advise owners and management on all aspects of employee relations, which include but are not limited to hiring, promotion, disciplinary actions, and terminations, to ensure proper documentation
- Conducts wage reviews and salary increases for staff
- Support payroll and benefits administration
- Assist in succession planning and addressing performance and employee relations issues through coaching, counselling, discipline and termination processes.
- Support the company mission by aiding in communication messaging for employee and organizational changes.
- Define company values and functional competencies to align performance and hiring criteria.
Skills:
- 3 years experience as a Human Resources Manager
- Experience building and cultivating company cultures across multiple locations
- Extensive legal and labour law experience
- Outstanding interpersonal relationshipbuilding and employee coaching skills
- Excellent conflict management and leadership skills
- Strong problemsolving ability
- Eager to improve, and ability to work well in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- CHRP preferred
