    Salary: $64,000 - $75,000 / year

    We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of Mechanical/Materials Engineering. Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation offers competitive wages. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

    This position requires domestic and international travel, based on project needs, up to 50% of the time.

    Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

    • Ensure welding fabrications are in compliance with standard welding engineering practices and applicable ASME, CSA, API and ISO codes and customer specifications
    • Responsible for tooling and fixture design work
    • Prepare fabrication drawings and weld maps
    • Perform research and development on new welding processes and techniques
    • Provide technical expertise and welding solutions for various applications
    • Collaborate with Customer, vendors and project team to ensure implementation of code compliance of welding procedures and practices
    • Oversee progress to ensure execution is performed according to the welding qualification plan and code compliance
    • Assisting with various projects as requested

    Key Skill Requirements:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

    Key Experience/Education:

    • University Degree in mechanical engineering or metallurgical engineering is required
    • Experience with CAD required
