Job Position:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support and grow our Online Classifieds business. This role involves identifying new customers, assisting with ad placements, providing customer support, and helping promote classified listings within the Chinese-speaking community.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Cantonese and Traditional Chinese, highly organized, and comfortable working with digital tools and community-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify small businesses and individual service providers within the Chinese-speaking community using approved online channels
- Research, collect, and organize customer and business information using provided Google Sheets templates
- Assist with preparing and sending email introductions and follow-ups using standardized templates
- Support customers throughout the classified ad placement process, including basic guidance and coordination
- Assist with promoting classified listings across relevant digital channels
- Provide timely and professional customer service to advertisers and users
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Chinese (spoken and written); Cantonese proficiency is required
- Familiar with Chinese-Canadian digital communities and platforms (e.g. forums, directories, community websites)
- Comfortable using Google Sheets, Gmail, and basic digital tools
- Strong communication skills with a clear and professional writing tone in Chinese
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Previous experience in marketing, sales support, customer service, or lead research is an asset

Pay: $38,000.00-$44,000.00 per year
