About us


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team and assist in the successful execution of a townhouse development projects in Vancouver area.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing various aspects of the project, from planning and scheduling to budgeting and reporting.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of the project.


Main Purpose & Function

  • Coordinate and assist in the planning and scheduling of project activities, including monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, including tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and providing financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Tender all aspects of the project and prepare trade contracts
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and other projectrelated documents.
  • Coordinate and attend project meetings, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors, to ensure clear and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Assist in the coordination of inspections and quality control activities to ensure project quality standards are met.
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and team members, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of construction project management principles, practices, and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey information and to explain design issues and principles.
  • Class 5 driver license.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam is required.
